A solar group purchase program offered by Power Trip Energy

What is Solarize Sequim? A group purchasing program resulting in significant savings on solar photovoltaic (PV) installations.

Who qualifies? Available to customers of Clallam PUD located east of the Port Angeles city limits.  

How much money can I save with a group purchase?  Solar installations typically cost $4,200 - $7,000 / kilowatt (kW) after the 30% federal income tax credit.  Power Trip Energy will offer an additional $300 - $700/kW rebate per customer depending upon the total number of kilowatts installed through the program. 

Rebate levels:

Minimum rebate for all participants = $300/kW

50 kW – 69 kW installed = $500/kW

70 kW or more installed = $700/kW

Maximum rebate amount $5,000 per customer.   

When can I get solar on my house or business through Solarize Sequim?

Installations will occur in the Fall-Winter of 2012.  

Be sure to enroll before August 30, 2012 to qualify for Solarize Sequim!
